How to Set Up Your Own Home Office

This can be overwhelming at first but with proper planning and budgeting you can do this gracefully. :)

By this time you  should have figured which part of your home will become your home office, not it's not your bedroom, the living room, or the TV room!

You should have your own space. It's not 100% avoidable that your kids will enter your office one time or another, but at least you can talk to them that when you're inside your office it means mommy is working. Unlike when you're in the living room, it's hard to tell kids your working.

Room - If you don't have a spare room, it's a good idea if you can put a kind of a removable or movable wall. Or you can also install curtains or anything that can "separate" your room. Visit your local furniture shop or mall. There are a lot of styles or designs that you can choose from.

Telephone - If you don't have a telephone line but you need this for your business then go ahead and call PLDT or Digitel. If you already have an existing telephone line buy a another telephone for your home office. If you're going to use your home number for your office number be sure to train other members of the family how to answer the telephone courteously.

Tables and Fixtures - They don't have to be expensive. Just pick ones that you are comfortable working on. A few drawers for your papers and a sturdy table for your working area is a good choice.

If you're going to invest on something I'd say that would be your chair. You must work comfortably especially if you work on the computer like me.

Supplies - You might not need most of these if you work online (like me). But having a pen and paper on your side is also great. I don't like my work area to be cluttered so I just have 2 pens and a notebook on my side just in case I need them.

If you work on papers or documents be sure you have ample but not too much supply of these.

Check your list and be sure it's complete before you head on shopping.  :)
