The Right Reasons in Putting Up a Business

1. Purpose

You want to deliver something to the world through your excellent products or services. You know that the market is lacking with this kind of product or service so you want to fill that lack. Or there might be existing products/services already same as yours but you want to make it better.



Bottomline is that you want to give to the world and it's your desire to make customers happy. They say follow your passion and the money will come next. Not vice versa.

2. You want to earn to give

Earning money from your business is ecstatic but do not forget to give back. By putting up a business you have to know from the start that in doing so, you have to give away a part of your earnings. Keeping all the earnings for yourself is selfish if you ask me. Because you can never do something alone.

Some forms of giving back are:
1. Tithing
2. Bonus to employees for a job well done. (Your business' success will not be possible if not for your employees.)
3. Donations

3. Money
I've mentioned in my previous article that money should not be the ONLY reason for putting up a business. In this article I want to add that Money should not be the main reason for putting up a business that's why I put it on number 3. You wouldn't marry just for money right? Although there are a lot of people who do, I still don't feel okay about that.

But it would also be a hypocrisy if I say that money should not be at all a reason for having a business. Earning a huge amount from your business is not bad in fact it's a big success if you earn much. It means you can do more on the Number 2 which is giving back. What are we trying to avoid here is putting money first. Let me repeat what I mentioned on my previous article, follow your passion and the money will follow.

So if you put up your business that earns well you can finally pay for your bad debts. You can also do the things you want like travel, investments, savings and so much more.
